18 Month Checkup

I had my 18 month checkup today. While Mommy was getting us ready to leave, she told me to get my shoes. I went and got my 2 pairs of shoes, and my sandals, and then went and waited patiently at the bottom of the stairs for her to decide which ones I should wear. I guess she'll have to be more clear next time which ones she wants!

While the doctor reviewed my Ages and Stages Questionnaire to check my development, I smiled, waved, and blew kisses to her. Unfortunately, she told me flirting would not earn me any extra points. Oh well, it doesn't hurt to try! I've lost a couple of ounces since my last checkup, so I'll have to go back for a weight check in a few months. She said it's probably nothing to worry about, I am just a busy little boy! I got a flu shot, and cried a little bit, but it wasn't because of the pain. Mommy wouldn't let me take my band-aid off! I've been known to rip the band aids off of a few unsuspecting people lately!

Weight: 24 pounds 8 ounces (25-50th percentile)

Height: 33 inches (75th percentile)

Head Circumference: 20.25 inches (>97th percentile)
